I talked to Mike about this on Sunday.  The gyms at the U of R are pretty 
big, I can't see us using the whole gym, so I thought we could ask another 
team if they wanted to split the cost and split the gym for the hour. 

Does anyone have a problem with us approaching another team with this 
offer?  It has to be dealt with today, or we could lose the booking date. 
Let me know this morning, once I hear from enough people I'll make the 
decision.

Hello,

Our team can book one of the older gyms at UofR for 8:30pm on Sunday 15, 
2006.  The total cost of the book is: $48.75/hr --> the new gym is $63/hr
Anyways, since it's more expensive than before, I'll would like to have a 
vote:
If anyone is willing to go to practice and bring $10 with them, reply to 
this email saying so.  I will bring change, depending on how many people 
show up.
I will schedule a practice if 5 people are guaranteed to show up.  This 
means that I need 2 people to reply to this email by Sunday 8, 2006.

I will considering the following people already willing to show up and 
bring $10:
1) Myself
2) Terrence
3) Dan

I apologize for the expense, but I've tried many places for bookings 
already.  If anyone wants a short explaination on the subject, please read 
below.

I've tried the following places for a practice:
School Board
--The booking process for one event takes a minimum of  3-4 weeks to 
process.  This option potentially has the cheapest rate but organizing a 
practice 3-4 weeks in advance now would mean that we'd get one practice in 
before playoffs.

Indoor Soccor Fields
--This is where we play our games.  They're heavily booked--hence, why our 
games are so late at night.

Field House
--Per person, this is the second cheapest option, but there's not place 
where we can throw a football around.  I asked, begged, and 
grovelled--they forwarded me to the soccor association.

YMCA
--We can rent half/full gym times at a days notice but only YMCA members 
can do the bookings.  The cost is also reasonable, even though we have a 
small space to practice in.

U of R
--This place is more expensive than I want, but the guy who takes the 
bookings is willing to fit us in within a week/couple days notice as long 
as we have money, and the time we request is available.
