> How did last nights game go??

Well, we supplied a ref for the game before us, and supplied 6 players for
our game ... so we met our basic obligations.

Anything over that, well ... let's just say that playing ironman, not
having a quarterback (or second string, or third string, or fourth ... ),
against a team that's played together for 15 years ... we did pretty much
as expected.

It's a good thing the other team gave us the ball to start ... cause it
meant we didn't have to bring a kicker, either. :-)

Joking aside, we didn't do too bad - we just gave up quite a few big plays
on defense. I think we managed to stop over half of their convert
attempts, so our red zone defense wasn't really the problem ... but we let
a few too many guys get behind our defenders on the long patterns, and
threw three or four interceptions that were run back for TDs.

Bright points on the night included a pick on our side, a few sacks,
Terrance's brilliant touch-down saving defensive knockdown, and Kai's
quarterback draws ... which seemed to gain 5 or 6 yards every play, even
when the other team knew they were coming.

The game did highlight our need to get together for a practice or two,
just to get more organized and learn a handful of offensive plays ... last
night, we were looking at possibly Saturday, even if the weather stinks.
